What should I expect in my medical marijuana consultation?
You should expect the provider to review over your medical history and medical records and determine whether or not you qualify for medical marijuana based on New York State’s guidelines. The provider will then explain why you were approved or denied and how they medication may benefit your condition.
What are the qualifying conditions for medical marijuana?
You may be eligible for medical marijuana if you have been diagnosed with one or more of the following severe debilitating or life threatening conditions: cancer, HIV infection or AIDS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury with spasticity, epilepsy, inflammatory bowel disease, neuropathy, Huntington’s disease, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain

I live outside of New York, can I still be screened for medical marijuana?
No. We can only accept patients from New York State. Medical marijuana is only legal in certain states and cannot be transferred across state lines.
What is medical marijuana?
Medical marijuana is cannabis grown specifically to treat diseases or conditions. Only patients that have one or more of the New York State qualifying conditions may be eligible for the medical marijuana certification program.
