Diabetes is a condition in which the body’s level of glucose (sugar) is abnormally high due to a lack of insulin or the body’s inability to use insulin efficiently. In 2012 29.1 million American had diabetes! Many were undiagnosed. Serious complications can arise from untreated diabetes, such as blindness, kidney disease, stroke, and amputation.
