Program Introduction
Cross Valley Health & Medicine performs Non-DOT Urine Drug Screens for various reasons to test. At the practice, the client will produce a urine sample that is collected in a clean and tamper-evident container. The results are analyzed on the same day of the visit, and verified by either Dr. Paul Saladino or Christian Plaza, PMHNP, FNP. The results of the test will be submitted to the client's requested employer or other assigned organization within seven business days, excluding federal holidays and weekends.
This program is on an appointment basis only with an out-of-pocket cost of $75.00 per test
Step 1
Fill out paperwork online on your own time
All new and existing patients are eligible to participate in this medical program. You can fill out your paperwork by clicking here on the go. After you submit your work, it will be sent to our office electronically and our staff will process it within 24 business hours.
Step 2
Scheduling the appointment
Clients can schedule a urine drug test at Cross Valley Health & Medicine by first completing the online paperwork. Once our office staff has verified your paperwork, you will be contacted to schedule an in-person appointment at our Newburgh, NY, location.
Step 3
Test day
Upon arrival, you must check in with our front desk to verify your demographic information and provide identification. We highly recommend bringing any paperwork from your requesting organization as well (such as pre-employment information)
Payment for the test of $75.00 is due at this time. We accept most major credit cards, cash or check. We cannot accept your health insurance for this test.
After verifying your identity, a highly trained Cross Valley Health & Medicine medical professional will guide you through our testing protocols. The entire process should take no more than 30 minutes.
Step 4
Post-test and results
The test results will be available in minutes and sent to the referring party within seven business days, excluding federal holidays and weekends. We recommend following up with your referring organization with any questions you may have regarding the results.

Paul Saladino, M.D. (left)
Dr. Saladino completed his residency at St Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan, NY in 1997. He is a dual-board certified Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine physician. He has been with Cross Valley Health & Medicine since 2007 and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. Dr. Saladino is an LGBTQ-identifying provider as well.
Christian Plaza, PMHNP, FNP (right)
Christian Plaza, PMHNP, FNP graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in 2018 as a nurse practitioner and then again as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2023. he has been with Cross Valley Health & Medicine since 2007 and is fluent in English and Spanish. Mr. Plaza is an LGBTQ-identifying provider as well.
