On June 14, the World Health Organization (WHO) celebrates World Blood Donor Day. Blood Donation has saved countless lives. “108 million blood donations are collected globally, half of these are in high-income countries”. The collected blood is then transfused to people who need it. This can save their lives! For more information visit the World Health Organization’s website.
